Mel Hemamda, BSc. (Hons) (Advisor)
Mel is an experienced business advisor with expertise in evaluating and executing pharmaceutical business development opportunities. His current focus is in transaction management, where he is involved in managing simultaneous transaction projects on behalf of clients seeking to divest or acquire pharmaceutical assets. In this role, his responsibility includes value proposition development, driving the business development campaign and building deal structure scenarios. Mel is multilingual, holds a BSc. (Hons) in Business Management and an MBA from Oxford Brookes.

Steven Renwick, PhD (Advisor)
Steven is a transactions specialist with experience in asset divestments and IP screening and sourcing, as well as competitive analysis and licensing litigation cases wherein PharmaVentures served as expert witness. He also conducts research on industry licensing practices and has presented this work internationally. Previously, Steven managed PharmaVentures’ Strategic Intelligence division, with responsibility for the development and production of PharmaDeals®. Steven has a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee and a PhD in Genetics from University College London.

Jansen Jacob, PhD, MBA (Advisor)
Jansen’s expertise lies in transactions, business strategy & planning as well as market and competitor analysis. His skills include product and technology valuations, benchmarking, deal structuring and litigation support in the pharmaceutical sector. With over 15 years in the life science sector Jansen’s experience covers DNA therapeutics, immunotherapy, animal health and plant science research. Jansen holds a chemistry degree from Gandhiji University, a DPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Sussex and an MBA from Oxford Brookes University.
