Contract Brief
Many contracts relating to licensing deals contain many components, dependencies and conditionality worded in a formal legalese which is frequently time consuming to analyse. The most frequent examples of these types of contracts in the public domain are contracts (exhibits) filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
A Contract Brief is an overview document which contains all key elements of the original contract delivered in a form which is much more easily digested and can thus saves the individual considerable time in order to understand the essential nature of the contract. A copy of the original contract is also supplied for the customer should they wish to further reference the original document.
