Each day executives are bombarded with new deals between Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies. Often we read the headline news of a deal between two companies for the licensing of a technology or new compound or biological entity. Frequently it is difficult to understand how a company has structured a deal or why they paid the amount they did. Behind every deal there is a story, often driven by strategic components which are not discussed in the press release
A Deal Insight involves a detailed investigation of all aspects of the deal by PharmaVentures staff, including analysis of the licensee and licensor underlying motives, strategy and likely future revenues from the deal. The analysis will also touch on the anticipated competitive repositioning of the partners involved in the deal.
